Les Ferguson

Biography


Les Ferguson played junior and senior football in Calgary from 1924 to 1934. He switched to officiating in 1934 and by 1935 he was a Canadian Football League official until his retirement in 1959. For the next 21 years, he worked as the Commissioner of the Calgary Bantam Football League whose championship is named after him. Les is a member Alberta Sports Hall of Fame.
